Kakadu hats - how to measure your head

Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string (if you use string, you'll need a ruler as well) around your head so that it is above your eyebrows and about 1cm / half and inch above your ears. No need to pull too tight - remember you want your hat to be comfy!

There are some slight variations in size depending on the fabric used for the hat - thicker materials mean the hat fit will be a bit tighter and thin fabrics a bit touch looser

Soaka hats are made from specially made poly-suede which is a durable synthetic fiber known for its resilience and ease of care. It has been constructed to be highly durable, quick-drying, and resistant to shrinking and stretching, making it ideal for hats

Care

Machine washable in cold/warm water with a mild detergent for washing; do not tumble dry.
Hang dry or lay flat in the shade. If necessary, use a hairdryer to remove creases caused by squashing or incorrect storage.
Avoid leaving your hat in a hot car.
A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your hat!

When windy the brim is a bit light and gets pushed up a bit but otherwise great

Exquisite shape and great materials! Tried to be accurate on sizing, per your chart, but the large is a tad tight. My error. Have the drover's coat and they look perfect together.

Practicality and Value

These hats are great. Nice wide brim gives good protection while the mesh allows for ventilation. It works. My wife has worn her soaka breeze for 10 years. I'm thin on top so need a good hat, so I bought two.
